Lucy has worked for both the Auckland War Memorial Museum and the Imperial War Museum in Lambeth, England. She brings to The Treasury a vast experience in collections handling and collections care and full heritage level digital restoration of photographs. She is a trained cataloguer and has used a variety of collection management and database systems. She has always loved documentary heritage and working with photographs, rare books and manuscripts has been her passion for many years.
This quote was the opening statement of The Coromandel Heritage Trust’s successful 2013 application to Lottery Environment & Heritage which was the final enabler of the Archive build. Daring to dream is what has created the Archive we see today at The Treasury.
